Man Has 1,497 Credit Cards

Walter Cavanagh of Santa Clara, CA currently holds the Guiness Book of World Records title for having the most valid credit cards.

Cavanagh currently holds 1,497 cards, totaling $1.7 million in available credit. He also carries a custom wallet, the world’s longest at 250 feet and holding 800 of his cards.

Cavanagh began his collection almost 50 years ago on a bet from his friend.
