What to Share or Not to Share
It is easy to think that just because you share the apartment, you share everything else. Unless previously discussed, each person has his own belongings and buy his own groceries, personal hygiene products, and more. If there are things that you would like to share, raise the topic to your roommate and get to a place in which both of you are comfortable and happy. Often times it is a good idea to pull funds and shop for the household.
